No celebration for Ronaldo, goalkeeper's blunder in extra time "burns" Al Nassr

The direct challenge for the Saudi League championship title between Al Nassr and Al Hilal ended in a 1-1 draw, after a dramatic finish in extra time.

The home team was ahead thanks to defender Simakan's goal in the 37th minute, a result that would secure them the trophy.

However, a blunder by goalkeeper Bento in the eighth minute of extra time cost Cristiano Ronaldo's team the victory, allowing Al Hilal to equalize.

This result keeps Al Nassr in first place with 83 points, five points more than followers Al Hilal who count 78 points.

The Portuguese striker, who appeared dejected after the match, must wait until the final week to secure his first title in Saudi Arabia.

The Al Nassr team continues to have its fate in its own hands to be declared champion.
