Sassuolo wins against Lazio, Albanian goalkeeper decisive with his saves

Sassuolo achieved their first Serie A victory of the season, beating Lazio 1-0. The decisive goal was scored in the second half by Alieu Fadera, after an assist from Tarik Muharemovic.

In the first half, Fabio Grosso's team tried harder to find the goal, but Andrea Pinamonti's chances were stopped by goalkeeper Provedel. A tackle by Vranckx was initially punished with a red card, but after the VAR intervention it was changed to a yellow.

Lazio tried to react after the break, but errors in finishing and saves by goalkeeper Muric denied them a goal. Sassuolo held on until the end, breaking a five-match winless streak against Lazio.

Lazio, meanwhile, recorded their second consecutive away defeat at the start of the season.
