Asllani and Ismajli start, Torino "break" Roma

Torino got their first win in Serie A this season by beating Roma 1-0 at the Olimpico. The success also ended a series of eight consecutive defeats in direct confrontations with the yellow and reds.

Two national team players, Ardian Ismajli and Kristjan Asllani, played as starters for the first time in Turin, and they showed good form.

The first half was lackluster, with only three shots on target and no dangerous chances. Roma had the best chances with Mancini and Hermoso, but goalkeeper Israel reacted correctly.

In the second half, it was Torino who found the goal with Simeone, who scored after a combination with Ngongen. Roma tried to react with Soulé and Pisilli, but without result. Torino even had chances to double, but Svilar avoided the second goal.

This was Roma's first home defeat in 14 games, as the yellow and reds now prepare for the derby against Lazio.
