Rummenigge is not spared: Some fools were found for Woltemade

Nick Woltemade was one of the names tipped to move to Bayern Munich during the summer, but ended up at Newcastle.

The English club paid around 80 million euros for his card, convincing Stuttgart to accept the offer. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, a former player and member of the Bayern board of directors, reacted to this move. He was critical of the figure paid, saying that the English club made a mistake with this investment.

"I can congratulate the Stuttgart management. They found some fools who paid so much money for Woltemade. Of course we at Bayern Munich would not pay that much," said Rummenigge.

Despite the criticism, the German striker has had a great start to his Premier League career, scoring two goals in three games for Newcastle.
