Ramos heading to Serie A, proposed among contenders

Sergio Ramos has been proposed to Milan in the January transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Spanish defender is on the verge of leaving Monterrey and is looking for a new experience in Europe.

He aims to keep his hopes of participating in the World Cup alive and has no intention of retiring from football.

Ramos would be ready to join a team that needs a leader in defense and does not seek to be a permanent starter. Serie A is a destination that attracts the player, while his agents are offering him to several clubs.

Among these clubs is Milan, who are looking for a centre-back for the second half of the season. Ramos' contract with Monterrey expires in December 2025, which makes the operation more complicated from an economic point of view.
