Champions League/ Chelsea stuns, historic victory in the next match

Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by Qarabag in Baku in a match valid for the fourth round of the Champions League.

This result ended a series of three consecutive away losses for Enzo Maresca's team, while the locals maintained their undefeated run at home.

The London Blues took the lead through Estevao, but Qarabag overturned the score through Andrade and Jankovic, the latter from the penalty spot.

In the second half, Garnacho equalized with a precise shot from inside the area. In the final minutes of the match, both teams had chances to win, but the score remained unchanged. Qarabag recorded their eighth match without defeat against English teams at home, while for Chelsea it was only the fourth match without a win in 24 matches under Maresca.

In the other group match, Pafos surprised Villarreal by winning 1-0, with a goal from Derrick Luckassen. This was the first historic success for a Cypriot team in the Champions League since 2011, when they were founded.
