Agreement reached, the national team defender moves to the Premier League

Albanian national team defender Klisman Cake is close to transferring to Akhmat Grozny in Russia.

Shkëndija e Tetovo has reportedly reached an agreement with the Russian Premier League club for the sum of 400 thousand euros. According to reports from North Macedonia, the player's salary at the new team will be around 330 thousand euros per season.

Negotiations between the parties have been in an advanced stage. For Shkëndija, selling the defender is seen as the most appropriate solution in the current conditions.

Cake's contract has a limited term, which put the club at risk of leaving without financial gain. Klisman Cake has also recorded appearances for the Albanian national team. He made his debut in a match against Jordan.
