In his youth, he was a wrestling champion, one of the most popular in the city. With strong hands and a speed that earned him many victories, he was a man who inspired respect and admiration.

But, despite all the achievements in wrestling, he has chosen not to leave his passion for craftsmanship, for shoes, a craft that he had learned from his father and that he had followed for many years. Despite the fact that his passions and life opportunities could have led elsewhere, he has never abandoned this work.

He talks about the challenges he has encountered during these 55 years of work. His beginnings were difficult, when everything was based on hands and simple tools.

"The difficulties have been many, but every day that passes, I have learned something new. I grew up with this job, and it's like a part of my life,” he says, looking at his old hands, soaked from long hours of work.
