In recent years, Korça has become the main destination for tourists who choose this city to spend the end of the year holidays.

Starting from the wonderful atmosphere in the city's boulevards, the most special areas such as the pedestrian area and the old bazaar, which are illuminated and decorated so beautifully, to give the city a festive look. Furthermore, Korça offers hospitality, warmth, even in low temperatures in this month of December, traditional dishes, as well as the favorite music of the visitors, which are serenades.

This year too, reservations for the end of the year holidays are closed and Korça is ready to welcome tourists and delight them with a series of special events.

Hostels, hotels and guesthouses have closed bookings for Christmas and New Year a month in advance. It was the tourists who chose Korça this year to celebrate, making sure to make reservations in the accommodation structures, but also in the restaurants.

The manager of one of the most popular and visited hotels in Korça has told CNA TV that the requests for reservations have been very high this year, both from Albanian visitors and foreign ones as well. He says that tourists choose Korça for the hospitality, culture and tradition that it offers, which makes the latter feel at home.

"The end of the year holidays were booked almost a month in advance, the whole of December and the first dates of January were also booked. There were many requests, generally the reservations are from Tirana, but also from other cities of Albania. There were also requests from foreigners, but we don't have free rooms and there are few foreigners in the reservations. We have 10 rooms and Korça is the one that offers its hospitality, its culture, and this is what people are looking for. they prefer Korça for parties."

At Christmas and New Year's dinner, there will be "live" music in the hotel's restaurant, where customers will find traditional dishes combined with modern ones. The customer impressions have been among the best, turning into loyal customers and always returning to Korça for holidays.

"For these holidays, we organize 'live' music in the restaurant area, with our traditional dishes combining them with modern ones. There are many requests, most of them come to celebrate with their families, but also with friends and company. All the customers who have come leave very satisfied, they have felt our hospitality, they have come back to us again, and they always come back. This is what Korça offers."

The dinner of these holidays is the most important to satisfy the customers and to offer them the wonderful taste of Korça recipes, but also their combination with foreign recipes, which makes the menu complete. The chef near "Vila Ekrem", Laridi Goskova, has shown to CNA TV the most favorite foods of the customers, revealing to us the menu prepared for the Christmas and New Year's dinner.

"The most favorite foods that are included in the traditional dishes of Korça and which customers love are the lamb ribs, baked lamb, baked beans, fried pancakes and pie. Even the visitors prefer the same things, they are more into the traditional ones. We in our restaurant we also have the modern cuisine, mixed with the traditional one. It is a very nice mix. At Christmas we introduced it to the menu modern cuisine combined with traditional, but rather modern. We have a burrata salad with pomodorini and arugula, goat cheese with kadaif and honey, lamb ribs in the oven and a lamb muscle, which will be made with dromka from the Kor?a area and with butter.

New Year's Eve has a variety, with a mixed leaf salad, with spinach, cheese and beetroot. We have the welcome mix, with pickles, we also have sauerkraut. At the modern ones, we have beef tartar, which is accompanied by potatoes, we have roasted cabbage with butter and gorgonzola cream and black garlic cream. For the traditional ones, the customers are extremely satisfied, but the modern ones we introduced are also surprised to find them in Korça."

Korça is the most beautiful and favorite city for the December holidays! The festive atmosphere is felt every day more and more not only by the pilgrims, but also by the visitors who have started to fill the city since the first weeks of this month, and it is expected that there will be an increased flow in the future.
