The Ulcinj High School "Vëllazërim-Bashkim" opened an exhibition at the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi" with works by students of this school . The director of the Ulcinj High School, Ardita Kovaçi, says that this cooperation should be closer and more frequent between these two cities.

"I believe our arrival today in Shkodra is good news for all of us, for Shkodra and Ulcinj, as we have always had close relations and contacts with Shkodra. We have been connected with the 'Luigj Gurakuqi' University for many years in terms of educating many generations, of professors who are probably now working in our gymnasium. We have presented 35 artistic works by our students. We have a club of young talents in the field of art who work and are very talented and today they have the opportunity to present their works here today. I believe that Shkodra should support the talents of our side, as they say, these students came here so happy and enthusiastic", said Kovaçi.
The Rector of the "Luigj Gurakuqi" University, Tonin Gjuraj, and the Head of the Department of Arts, Rubin Mandija, expressed that this cooperation with Ulcinj will be even more present in the future.

"It is a special pleasure for me to welcome guests from Ulcinj. Between our cities there is a very long tradition of cooperation in many areas, cultural, economic and beyond. I hope that today we will open a new chapter in deepening these relations by welcoming an exhibition and a concert from the Ulcinj High School. I believe that this will be only the first step of a long-term cooperation between our institutions and I really hope that it will serve our students, the pupils of Ulcinj, our pedagogical staff and art teachers in these two institutions", said Mandija.

"Let it be a moment where we share with each other aspects related to the curriculum that we offer as a university. What would make us immensely happy would be for us to increase the presence of students, so tomorrow a student from Ulcinj, from Tuzi, from Kosovo, etc. at our university. I would like our university, the department of arts to be the first choice for Ulcinj students. I believe that the University of Shkodra is the right place for Ulcinj students to continue their 3-year bachelor's studies. Shkodra is a city several times cheaper than Tirana, it offers a lot in terms of cultural, artistic, and sports life, but we are also close as cities, while there is also a dormitory for students who want to come, as well as other facilities. Let the students who are here today reconsider so that we have the opportunity to concretize those agreements and ideas that we had a month ago," said Tonin Gjuraj, Rector of "Luigj Gurakuqi" University.
After the exhibition of works that showcased the talent of students from the "Vëllazërim-Bashkim" high school, the young people from this school also held a concert at the University of Shkodra with traditional Albanian music and songs. /CNA
