36 days from Cambridge to Tropoja/ Seb Ponari arrives at Han i Hotit

Seb Ponari, after 36 days of walking, arrived in Han i Hotit this Sunday morning.

2,750 kilometers from Cambridge to Tropoja. The purpose of this epic journey is not only physical, it is a personal and emotional dedication, in symbolic honor of his father, who passed away a decade ago.

" It was definitely a challenging adventure but above all a rewarding one. The day I started I knew it would be difficult but not that much. I thought about a snake but I didn't end up like we ended up in Croatia. At night there was a rocky road and there I saw myself in difficulty. Croatia was the most challenging country. There was no moment when I said stop. My running career started years ago. I started running to work, it was 9 hours, and that's where it started as a passion. Last year at this time I said what it would be like to go to Tropoja by running.. This year my dad passed away 10 years ago and I said I would go from my house to my dad's house in Tropoja by running. That was the reason I never left. Running was the main reason I improved my mental health. Even today I woke up feeling worthless. So running is a good reason. I have divided this project into 2 "The first phase in Tropoja and the rest in Ksamil. I will spend a few days at the beach to cover 3 thousand km. I want to show Albania in every corner, " said Seb Ponari.

Seb Ponari has started this challenge since May 10th.

He was accompanied by 4 people. The driver of the caravan, who is also an Albanian physiotherapist, the running coach from Cyprus and two other people from Albania./ CNA
