After the State Matura exams, the correction of the Foreign Language test for high school graduates has been completed. Since the announcement of these results in Shkodra, there has been an increase in the overall average. The Director of the Local Education Office, Brisela Kadia, states that out of 1330 high school graduates, 380 of them received the maximum grade while only 9 of them failed.

"Two State Matura exams have been completed, the Foreign Language and the Albanian Language, while the results for the foreign language exam have also been released. The results we received in this exam are certainly within our expectations, but there is also a very positive correlation with what we had expected. We have had an increase in the average grade in these exams and we have had a much better representation of our students in the foreign language subject. We have had a large number of 10s. Of course, there are also grades that range from 7 to 8, which is the grade that is most often encountered. Out of 1,330 high school graduates in the foreign language exam, we had only nine 4s, which is a small and insignificant residual grade figure, which has very little impact on the average grade. We have had over 380 10s in all our public and private high schools and vocational schools," said Kadia.

In the foreign language exam, the "28 Nëntori" high school in Shkodra continues to be the city's elite school, once again holding first place in the results achieved in the foreign language exam.

"We have had a very good representation of the '28 Nëntori' school, which continues to maintain a very good level of results and average grade, but also the 'Oso Kuka' school, as well as private schools that have achieved good results. We have had an increase because the overall average grade is 7.3 and in foreign language we have achieved 7.87, which means that our students have been very well represented and have reflected those knowledge that perhaps we have been too tight in the grades given to high school graduates," says Kadia.
