At the Socialist Party's new membership event in Vora, the Political Director of the Socialist Party for the Tirana region, Taulant Balla, spoke about European integration and organizational work in the field. During his speech, Balla stated that the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party coincides with a moment that he described as historic for the country.

Among other things, he commented on political developments in the DP, where he ironized the debates about internal processes, saying that initially there was talk of elections and then of a referendum regarding the political direction. According to him, the result in the opposition camp is predetermined and the figure of Sali Berisha remains unquestionable despite the formal voting process.

"Have you seen that owl's wing? At first they said we would hold elections, they said we would hold elections, okay, they registered, Salianji registered, Meremja registered, they took away Meremen from us. They didn't let Meremen run, and now they say we will hold a referendum after the elections. We love Saliu, we don't love Saliu. Vote however you want, 100% Saliu will come out ," said Balla.

Further in the meeting, Balla demanded more engagement from socialist structures in every neighborhood and community, emphasizing that there are still tasks to be fulfilled at the local level, including issues related to housing allocation and other projects for citizens. /CNA
