The President of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has welcomed the protest of the citizens of Vlora regarding the lack of water supply for several days.

Berisha said that the people of Vlora reacted strongly and that the gala was ruined for the officials who, according to him, were celebrating with stolen water supply funds. He emphasized that protests like the one in Vlora are saviors for Albanians and Albania.

"I want to warmly greet the citizens of Vlora for their dignified protest, for their civic spirit, who reacted in the strongest possible way, taking the blame for the corrupt officials who stole the water supply funds and gathered to celebrate with them."

Citizens, you are experiencing the greatest injustices. Your protest against the regime is a salvation for you and for Albania. Water is not only lacking in Vlora, water is lacking throughout Albania.

"Arbitrariness is not only practiced in Vlora, it is practiced in every corner of this country. To save it, we need your voice, we need your civic engagement. Let's drive out this great evil that has befallen Albania as soon as possible.
