New protests in 2026 against Edi Rama?/ Here's how Sali Berisha responds

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke today about the possibility of new protests at the beginning of 2026.

In a press conference, Berisha said that the path to overthrowing Prime Minister Edi Rama is not through weapons, but through daily peaceful revolt. 

"This opposition has organized, in its history, the most magnificent protests, the most successful revolts. It has this history. It overthrew the system of dictatorship and then the system of violence in '97. This opposition, not that it is completely lacking, it is not that we have not used the prolonged protest, but it has remained unpaired. Therefore, now, Albanian citizens must know that the path to overthrowing Rama is not with weapons, but with daily peaceful revolt until his departure.
In this regard, world experience proves that this is the most successful path. This is the only path to start where the narco-dictators belong. We have great confidence that it will be realized", - said Berisha./CNA
