Politician Nard Ndoka commented today on the way the Democratic Party is functioning.

Invited to A2 CNN, Ndoka stated that within the DP, different opinions are not respected and that those who express an opinion different from the usual ones are attacked as enemies of the party.

Ndoka said that this situation within the Democratic Party has created a suffocating climate.

"If you express a different opinion, they start attacking you as an enemy of the party. You are not respected for your different opinion, but they attack you because you do not think the same as the leader. This is the biggest moral, political, structural problem of the DP. The leader of the FRPD thought differently and for a week he was attacked in a macabre way. In that party, unfortunately, not only is a different opinion not accepted, but the climate is stifling. If you speak differently, forget about a political career there. If you have created a critical profile, you have "washed your hands" in that party," Ndoka declared./CNA
