The President of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is holding a conversation with citizens on social networks today.

During his speech, Berisha spoke about the protests against the government. He stated that the European People's Parties support the protest because of its just cause.

According to him, the protest may be the only one in the last 30 years in Albania and Europe that has received the full support of the entire political spectrum.

"The resolution approved for the report lists all the major issues of the report, but also adds a paragraph on the Albanian youth civic protest, which today reaches its 35th day.

The EPP supports the protest because of its just cause.

I think this is a great achievement, first and foremost for those boys and girls, men and women who have been protesting for 35 days for a great national cause for hours and hours and have become an example around the world for their peaceful protest.

"So, we can say that today's protest may be the only protest in the last 30 years in Albania and Europe that has received the full support of the entire political spectrum of democratic Europe ," Berisha said. /CNA
