The Socialist Party's candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Ogerta Manastirliu, held a meeting this Monday with a group of architects and urban planners to discuss the "Tirana 2030" plan.

In her speech, Manastirliu emphasized that with the aim of Urban Renaissance 2.0, the liberated spaces will be put at the service of communities in every neighborhood of Tirana. 

Manastirliu added that the objective of this plan is to create more greenery, more spaces for entertainment, sports and recreation in the capital.

 "There are many architects who are engaged in another genuine plan related to public spaces and related to the development of these spaces in the function of the community, another social dimension that the city needs to give to build healthy coexistence among all those who contribute to the city, but who want to get the best out of the city. There are more than 1,000 spaces, which are 1,000 opportunities, which we can work to return to the community in green spaces, in the function of different age groups, with a sports corner for children and young people, with recreational environments for the elderly", - said Manastirliu. /CNA
