"Parliament less effective than necessary"/ Kaso: The opposition is

Democratic MP Ivi Kaso declared today that the opposition led by the Democratic Party is quite clear about the battles it is fighting in the Assembly.

Invited to the "Now" show, Kaso was critical of the situation of the parliament, which according to him should at least supervise the executive, a role that, according to him, is being performed less and less effectively.

"We are quite clear about the battles we are fighting in parliament, but also about the denunciation of the increasingly less effective role it should have, as one of the institutions that should at least supervise the executive. We have been sovereign in our positions and in our reflections on the statements regarding the internal affairs of the Democratic Party and the state of the DP. We believe that we know better and evaluate it better than the embassies. As for the positions of the partner embassies on the state of democracy in the country, the Justice Reform and anything else related to the good governance or misgovernance of this country, they are vital for the country as a whole," said Kaso./CNA
