The leader of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj, invited to MCN TV, spoke about the Electoral Reform Commission, which he called a farce.

Shehaj stated that the Opportunity Party will not become part of this farce and said that the opposition is making a mistake by sitting at the table.

Sitting the opposition at a table with the SP, according to Shehaj, will harm the opposition.

Changing the electoral system, for Shehaj, changes it in favor of the majority.

Further, the leader of the Opportunity Party said that it is better to have this situation than to sit at a table that will worsen the situation.

" If you listened to the opposition today, they would say that the May 11 elections were stolen. Where does this need for electoral reform come from? How many times have they sat down, they have attacked the new parties. The two leaders of the SP-PD have vetoes, they have the decisions for the commission in their hands, and we are there in vain. Today they voted for the commission that was created to kill the new parties. When I hear Taulant Balla point out the problems the elections have and mention financing, that is ridiculous. They have stolen the money, they are throwing it in the media. These people win the fourth elections, when a third of the population has left.

We do not want to become part of a farce that we know where it will lead us. The commission is being formed to make it even worse. Electoral reform makes no sense, so we sit down with the SP for it. The opposition is wrong to sit down at the table. Every time the opposition has sat down with the SP, it has been damaged.

"If the electoral system changes, it changes in favor of the majority. There should be no reform commission at all. In which country is there reform after every election? In which country in the world, does an opposition party that has been deceived continue to sit at the table? They sit because they are told: come on, we will harm the new parties. It is better to stay like this than to sit at a table where we will be worse off ," said Shehaj./ CNA
