The Chairman of the "Albania Becomes" Movement, Adriatik Lapaj, reacted today regarding the approval of the special commission for Electoral Reform during Monday's plenary session.

Through a post on social media, Lapaj stated that this reform will be carried out according to the wishes of the Socialist Party because it has the votes, while also accusing the Democratic Party of not acting in a timely manner due to its own interests.

Lapaj claims that his movement has been the only one to insist on this reform, and time is proving them right.

1. Today, the SP has the votes, so it will do what it wants. We told you this before May 11, when everyone was asking us why you only talk about the system...

2. The DP had the opportunity last year to condition it, as it had the Constitutional Court's decision in its favor. It didn't do it, because it saw its own interest: how to grab a chair and not allow change.

3. The new parties had the opportunity to unite and shatter the system. That was why we reached out to them, but all we got was mud and attacks. Now is not the time to complain.

4. There is only one way: everyone with the "Albania Becomes" Movement, which is the only one that seeks to stop this massacre of the electoral system. Everyone with the Movement that fights for the change of the system.
