Rama challenges the Judges' Association: Produce just one document of financial deterioration
Prime Minister Edi Rama has publicly challenged the Judges...

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the statement made by the Prosecutors' Association regarding judges' salaries and the debate between the head of government and the Judges' Association.
In a post on "X", Rama states that the Prosecutors' Association, which according to him is still unregistered according to the law, has declared solidarity with the judges' associations and has requested that salaries not be reduced.
Rama explains that not only has there been no attempt, but there has not even been any thought of reducing judges' salaries.
Full reaction:
After all, a new prosecutors' association has emerged - still unregistered according to the law, but within the registration deadline - which has declared solidarity with the judges' associations, demanding "not to reduce salaries"!!!
So, the absurd attempt of the most privileged category of the Albanian state's salary pyramid to increase their salaries even more through litigation now appears to us as the attempt of a group discriminated against by the government to stop the reduction of salaries!!!
Do you understand or not what is called a "salary cut" in the strange thread of this reasoning?
Not raising salaries as much as the judges' associations want!!!
So, in Albanian, a salary that doesn't increase as much as I want is a low salary!!!
It seems totally unbelievable, but it is unfortunately true!
Total absurdity, because not only has there been no attempt, but it has not even occurred to anyone to reduce the salaries of judges! In fact, the government's attention to the judiciary is so great that for almost a year now we have been working to enable the construction of a Justice Pole, like nowhere else in the Balkans, so that the working conditions of the judiciary will be the same as the salaries, the best in the region!
But in the meantime, I can't help but ask this new association a question:
What about the continuous violation of the presumption of innocence, as nowhere else in Europe, and the return of detention without trial to a routine practice, which has tarnished Albania worldwide, ranking us as the black sheep at the tail of the European continent and turning us into a public subject of concern for the Council of Europe's Committee for the Prevention of Torture, do you have anything to declare?! / CNA
Then a new prosecutors' association emerged - still unregistered according to the law, but within the registration deadline - which has declared solidarity with the judges' associations, demanding "not to reduce salaries"!!!
