Democrat Dorjan Teliti accused the majority today of having their own version of the Territorial Reform ready and making the discussions in the Assembly merely for show.

Invited to A2 CNN, Teliti stated that the opposition intends to go to the Special Committee with a proposal.

Teliti added that in this case, the veto mechanism could operate by giving the opposition the right to intervene.

"I know that they have their version ready. They have it ready in the drawer. There is no analysis of the current context and we are doing this just to show it to the public. We will do a concrete and realistic analysis and when we come out in two or three weeks with our model, our proposal, it will be a material that you would call semi-scientific, prepared by the relevant experts. When we go to the committee there, we know that we will be faced with a proposal from the other side. If it is not the veto mechanism, because this is the whole key, they can take to the plenary session in July what they want, we will take our model. The two versions and the two models will go, they will vote on their version. And what does the veto mechanism do? The veto mechanism gives the opposition the right to interfere in the material and in the proposal of the majority", said Teliti./CNA
