"There will also be protests about healthcare"/ Zhupa: On February 10,

DP MP Ina Zhupa said in today's plenary session that in the February 10 protest, citizens will also protest the dire state in which, according to her, the healthcare system has deteriorated.

Zhupa said that another reason for protesting is the poverty faced by Albanian families. Among other things, the MP added that farmers and miners will also join the opposition protest on February 10.

"The Minister of Health is not coming because a major reason why citizens will protest on February 10 is healthcare. It is the healthcare sector where all the prices of medicines have increased today, where the lights of the intensive care unit are out, where salaries are not paid, where medicines for cancer patients are missing. This is the state in which Albanian healthcare has deteriorated. It is one of the strong reasons why citizens are protesting. Today we have poverty records. 1/3 of Albanian families cannot heat themselves. 43% of Albanian families live in survival conditions. Students are protesting for a quality education. Albanian schools do not recognize it, let alone use it. Schools are still heated with fire in Albania. Citizens are protesting about the difficult conditions and the crisis that you have reduced farmers to. Listen to the farmers so that you do not listen to them. To leave it to the mayor of Divjaka who, from the way he praised the prime minister, was in competition with the ministers. Everyone was heard but only the farmers were not heard. Only "You don't solve their problems and you ignore them every time you pass draft budgets here. That's why farmers will join the opposition protest on February 10. Miners will also join because this parliament could not give them the status of miners," said Zhupa. /CNA
