The goal of the opposition forum?/ Hasimja: The minimum, free and fair elections

Political scientist Ermal Hasimja, invited to the show "The Unexposed", spoke about the initiative to unite opposition parties. Hasimja said that the goal is to have at least free elections.

He further said that Rama does not accept this, but the united opposition in cooperation with internationals can pressure him to accept it.

Hasimja declared that if Rama does not accept, he will pay high political costs.

 

"Why is the opposition divided? This is exactly what we are doing. Not to unite them for a coalition, but to set the minimum logical condition, to bring Albanians to the ballot boxes, to free and fair elections. Does Rama accept it? Not willingly. But can we, united, with the internationals and with public opinion, force him, put pressure on him, to agree to this. He may not do it, but politically he will pay high costs.

"The surest way to avoid failure is to do nothing. It doesn't seem to me that it's not working. Since last Monday, the vast majority of studios have been talking about this, not to my credit," said Hasimja.
