The Head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, delivered his speech in the Assembly, during the motion with debate on the OSCE/ODIHR report on the May 11 elections.

Balla stated that one of the issues that must be addressed immediately is the financing of political parties and election campaigns.  

"One of the issues that we need to address immediately is the financing of political parties and election campaigns. We have started working on a draft law on the financing of political parties and campaigns in 2026. These are one of the homework elements that need to be addressed.  Spending $6 million to say a week before the elections that the "nongrata" was removed and there you have it.
