The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, shared snippets of stories from his life today.

Invited to a podcast, Berisha told how he left his profession as a doctor to devote himself to a career in politics.

Berisha said that he started his first vision for Albania with the idea of ??Europeanization. 

"I never thought about it, I was a doctor and I was connected to it, it was a very beautiful profession. At that time, my entire political formation was the national issue, Kosovo. What my family had influenced me, more than anything else, was Kosovo. Kosovo was their biggest concern. 70% of the conversations were about Kosovo, because after 45 they were more divided. They talked about selling, I thought and said the Russians did the division, but they said no, we did it ourselves. They talked about everything about it and so my entire formation was about Kosovo.
