The Venice Verdict and the "Venice" Decision
Journalist Lutfi Dervishi

For deputies:

The deputies cannot be forced to vote in a certain way, but, in the case of the decisions of the Constitutional Court, the Parliament is obliged to implement the decision, because these decisions are binding and part of the rule of law.

Failure to implement the Court's decision constitutes a violation of the constitution and the rule of law.

Did the deputies know this? Like the bread they eat. But it was a job.

When there is a conflict of interest between the duty of the deputy and any other position he holds (public or private), the deputy must choose one of these duties. If he does not resolve the conflict, he may lose his mandate.

For anyone interested…

Court decisions are binding on all institutions and are not a matter of political preferences or interpretations.

The Constitutional Court protects rights and divides powers to maintain the balance and integrity of institutions.

In essence, the Venice decision requires Parliament to act according to the constitution, regardless of political interests.

"Decision of Venice":

"Deputies cannot be forced to vote in a certain way, as they are free to exercise their mandate"

Venecia says: "Deputies are obliged to respect the decisions of the Constitutional Court, otherwise they violate the constitution", while "Venice", which was pumped in the media, says: "deputies are free to vote as they please".
