Journalist for Rilindja, Baton Haxhiu, in an article of his, spoke about Archbishop Anastas Janullatos and his contribution to the Albanian Orthodox Church. Haxhiu writes that Janullatos did not come only to rebuild churches, but came to rebuild a world.

The journalist further says that the Cathedral in Korça has a Byzantine spirit.

"Therefore, it is not just a church. It is a clear message. A message that says that here there is a Byzantine spirit, here there is a Hellenic spirit. A stamp that you cannot ignore. A taste that does not require permission to enter. It simply settles ," writes Haxhiu.

Baton Haxhiu says that the church in the center of Korça speaks Greek.

“A city that had always been proud of its Europeanism now had a Greek-speaking church at its heart. And this was perhaps its deepest legacy – a peace that walks lightly on stones that will always carry the scent of the south ,” says the journalist.

Kostandin Luci responded to Baton Haxhiu with a status on social media and called the article defamatory.

Luci in his status tells Haxhiu that masses in Orthodox churches in Albania are held in Albanian. Luci, referring to Baton Haxhiu's writing that the Cathedral of Korça speaks Greek, says that only the ancient ruins of Butrint speak Greek.
