Have you ever worked a day in your life?

Today I was drinking morning coffee with a friend, about 15 years younger than me, but who had been a director before finishing university, with whom we are politically opposed.

The conversation brought him to his ambition to quickly climb the career ladder, to become a branch leader and in 2025 to be an MP safely on the lists.

I listened to him as he was talking to me about his wars, how he had grown up with the party, how he had given his maximum contributions to the party, etc., etc.

After he talked to me for about 20 minutes, I asked him a question. "Have you ever worked a day in your life? Do you have a guaranteed day of work other than in a party position or state office appointed by the party? Have you ever been afraid of losing your job and not having money to feed yourself, pay bills, etc. ?"

"Political experience" is good, but not enough. The opposite happens. "Political experience" wraps you in a little world that guys like my friend often confuse with the real world.

Our protracted transition produced plenty of such types, left and right. Everyone was a cut. Blowers and patronage, who arrogantly seek the ladder of power quickly and quickly.

Politics for them were and are rumors, the lynching of the opponent and the cafes where they sat with a glass of whiskey in front of them, coffee and expensive cigars.

Politics for them were and are without any analysis the words of the leader who repeated, repeated and repeated...

These types are "communication experts"; they know how to socialize without having any friends; to be loyal without being loyal, to go where the wind blows even when the breeze is hot; to mention any philosopher without reading a book in their life; to claim that the history of political power begins with them...

Their political cynicism; their indifference leaves them speechless...

I am sure of one thing. Outside of our political swamp, in which everyone invests, they would not be able to survive...

Most of them wouldn't even pass a job interview if they ever asked for a real job in the private sector.

Not that they aren't smart. They have the ingenuity, even more so.

But who does that ingenuity come into work, apart from them?

It is precisely these types of people that we have paid dearly for these 32 years of transition. Instead of giving them the hack, we took them to the parliament, to government posts, to high posts in the administration to direct us, without having the minimum of experience.

And the results are visible!

Catastrophe!

Both politically, in administration, and in public life...

The time has come, it is even late, for us to make the difference and determine who we want to govern us, lead us, put them in public positions and go out for coffee or even a walk!

But the time has come to ask all those who have political ambitions and who stand in front of us asking for our vote if they have ever worked a day in their lives...

And then decide! Let's vote for them or kick them...
