Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban end their marriage after 20 years

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have split after nearly 20 years together. The famous couple have two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

The Oscar-winning actress and four-time Grammy-winning country music singer married Urban in June 2006.

The reasons for their split are not yet known. Kidman and Urban have been through their ups and downs during their nearly two decades together.

They experienced the peak of their careers when they won and were nominated for major awards in their respective industries. Over the years, they have supported each other, appearing together at awards shows and Hollywood premieres for each other.

A few months after their wedding, Urban checked himself into a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol addiction. Both he and Kidman have said that his addiction issues made their relationship stronger.

Kidman and some of his close friends organized an intervention that Urban said changed his life.

"Everything was designed, I believe, for that moment to bring us together," he said in his 2010 appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

"Now when I look back, I realize that Nik has taught me a lot, brought a lot of things into my life and opened my eyes in a lot of ways," he said. "This is the best place I've ever been."

The pair were spotted together over the summer in June watching a FIFA Club World Cup match in Nashville, Tennessee.

The "Babygirl" actress was previously married to actor Tom Cruise. The couple were together for more than 10 years and have two children together. They ended their marriage in 2001./ CNA
