Studimi i ri: Libido mashkullore arrin kulmin në moshën 40 vjeçare

Burrat e shqetësuar për humbjen e shkëndijës së tyre seksuale pas rinisë nuk duhet të shqetësohen, me një studim të ri që sugjeron se dëshira mashkullore arrin kulmin në moshën 40 vjeçare.

Në të kaluarën, dëshira seksuale është matur kryesisht në lidhje me nivelet e hormoneve.

Testosteroni, hormoni përgjegjës për nxitjen e dëshirës seksuale të burrave, fillon të bjerë me rreth 1 përqind në vit pas moshës 30 vjeç, sipas Shërbimit Shëndetësor Kombëtar (NHS) të Mbretërisë së Bashkuar. Kjo ka çuar në besimin e përhapur se burrat janë më të epshshëm në të 20-at e tyre.

Megjithatë, një ekip studiuesish nga Universiteti i Tartu në Estoni kanë zbuluar të kundërtën.

Duke analizuar të dhënat nga më shumë se 67,000 të rritur të moshës 20 deri në 84 vjeç, ata zbuluan se libidoja e burrave vazhdoi të rritej deri në fillim të të 40-ave, duke filluar një rënie graduale në vitet pas.

Studimi, i botuar në revistën Scientific Reports, ngre pyetje të rëndësishme rreth kompleksiteteve të dëshirës njerëzore përtej biologjisë; se si ndikohet nga një mori faktorësh psikologjikë dhe mjedisorë që përcaktojnë kënaqësinë tonë të përgjithshme në jetë.
