Vjosa National Park/ Experts: Increases the possibility of tourism development

The announcement of the Vjosa National Park is opening new perspectives in the field of environment and tourism development in the South of the country. The Vjosë River and its branches cross the areas of Përmet, Gjirokastra and Tepelena, constituting an important resource for the development of their local economies and especially tourism.

“Bëhet fjalë për Parkun e Parë Kombëtar të një lumi të egër në të gjithë kontinentin europian. Pra është një model i ri, është një mentalitet i ri sesi i qasemi mbrojtjes së natyrës. Dhe si e tillë duke parë edhe mënyrën sesi ka ndryshuar tashmë qasja ndaj parqeve kombëtare specifikisht në këto 30 vite e fundit në Europë por edhe në botë është vënë re gjithmonë e më shumë që parqet kombëtare janë një atraksion shumë i madh i turistëve”, deklaron për Euroneës eksperi I mjedisit, Olsi Nika.

Ndërkohë specialist i ekoturizimit tha: “Do të ketë një rritje të fluksit falë edhe jehonës kombëtare që i është dhën luginës së lumit të Vjosës, florës dhe faunës që ai mbart”.

“Lumi i Vjosës është i vetmi lum i egër i Europës. Sigurisht që mbart një nga ekosistemet më të pasura kjo e bazuar në radhë të parë në statistikat dhe studimet që kanë bërë studiuesit austriakë, zvicerian amerikanë por edhe nga organizata ndërkombëtare e mjedisit “Patagonia””, shtoi ai.

Tashmë për ekspertët sfidë ngelet mbrojtja e Parkut Natyror të Vjosës si dhe sigurmi i financimeve për miradministrimin e tij në funksion të zhvillimit të ekoturizmit.
