Arben Golemi brings Berat to Pogradec

Arben Golemi, the artist from Berat who preserves his hometown in an arsenal of thousands of drawings and hundreds of paintings, through the exhibition "Scratched Images" brings the facades of Berat to Pogradec on the lake. Golemi says that he returns after 14 years in Pogradec, bringing a different exhibition, as colorful as it is deep.

"It is not the first time I come to Pogradec. 14 years ago I had an exhibition in Pogradec.

I like Pogradec for its natural beauty for the lake, but for the fact that I have my painter friends in Porgadec, like Vangjo Vasil.

I always have a motive to come to Pogradec and show my paintings.

In general, I have large-format jobs as I come from Berat and was brought up with the spirit of small towns.

Every painter feels good when he exhibits his paintings in a beautiful city. I come here to show Berat", said Arben Golemi.

For Pogradec painter Vangjo Vasili, Arbeni is an artist of another caliber, who, like a skilled architect, brings to painting forms, colors and light that few manage to realize like him.

"His works are very weighty. He has the high sensitivity of a very sensitive painter.

His profession as an architect is a very big plus. It is a very strong weapon that he has to give spiritual images to others", said Vangjo Vasili.
