The costumes of Lezha/ Traditional clothes are presented

This event was mostly dedicated to the costume design and its variety found in this city. Resized in separate pavilions, they present a great value for Lezha, while there are elements that are not found in the population today.

"This is an environment where we have tried to organize with our spaces objects that are really ready to be sold due to depreciation over the years.

We have tried to do our best to rehabilitate them and guide them to clean them and we believe that they are assets that we will not be able to have anymore if we do not give them the priority and importance they deserve.

They are objects that have their importance. It is the costume design of the 5 heroes of Lezha. We tried to give it the right importance. We still have work to do", said Petrit Dushi, Costume and Folklore Specialist at the Lezhë Palace of Culture.

"This is done to honor, appreciate and respect the efforts of those hundreds and thousands of people who have taken care of our national heritage.

Lezha is the first city in Albania for cultural and spiritual heritage", said Petrit Zefi.

For a few years, importance has been given to the restoration of costumes and their addition to these pavilions.

"In addition to repairing the old costumes, we are currently sewing the traditional costumes of Lezha to bring back some elements that have disappeared. We hope that very soon the traditional clothes will be new", said Lorena Malshi, Costume Designer of the Palace of Culture Lezhë.

Referring to the rich heritage of Lezha, the Head of Cultural Heritage in the Municipality of Lezha, Paulin Zefi, has made it known that this wealth is extraordinary in Lezha, a fact that has led to a dignified presentation in every presentation, which today is displayed in all the recently reconstructed premises in the palace of culture.
