My goal is to show that beyond politics, beyond divisions, beyond the day-to-day chatter, rumors, beyond thieves, conflicts, divisions, corruption, scandals that are made by people in my hometown in Korça as everywhere, there are people who make a difference .

I am writing these lines for the 70th anniversary of a "communist" who I often call my friend Muharrem Meko.

Ah, he may be a communist in belief, but he is actually a true socialist and one of those people you should be proud to have as a friend.

He was an official, leader of the SP.

Today he turns 70, he has retired, but for people like him, retirement does not exist.

He directed the television of Korça, correspondent of "Voice of the People", political leader, hard-left, former soldier.

However, to this day, no one has raised a finger to accuse him, even though he has held public office. Whether for corruption, or for an affair, or for a single coffee.

Muharrem has remained what it was. With friends and colleagues around the tables and what he wants is to help or hire, recommend or publicly defend as many young guys as possible, guys with contributions, honest people, he always does this, the political division doesn't matter much to him .

Now age and nobility makes you think differently than yesterday.

It has been a harsh, bitter, terrible pen. Years pass, his pen has not only not softened, but has also become more beautiful, fairer, more dignified, stronger and clearer.

When you give a simple and repeated message, we need young people in politics, we need visionary guys, politics needs to be opened up, citizenship is needed, culture is needed, contributions must be respected, honest people are needed.

He has led this political force in Korça for several years.

I wrote these lines as a friend, as a collaborator, and as a well-wisher, not only my person, but also of CNA, a media opened by me, but since today, in so many years, dozens of journalists have passed , directors and is managed by experienced and professional people, whom Muharrem Meko appreciates and thanks for every article that is published. That is why I dedicated these lines to Muharrem Meko for his citizenship as a good colonist, for his political values ??that today are greater than ever , even when together we were opponents and clashed, where rightly where without him right, without any doubt, I'm taking all the blame. Not as smaller, but as a reflection.

To publicly congratulate Muharrem Meko in the audience of CNA: Another 100 years Mr. Meko, now a grandfather! Have health and prosperity and I believe that my congratulations are joined by the staff of CNA and many fellow journalists.
