Prostitution den discovered in Durrës/Two Brazilian citizens arrested

Durrës Police have finalized the tenth phase of the operation codenamed “STORM”, focused on cracking down on criminal activities of prostitution and drug use. The operation was conducted after several weeks of investigations.

During the police intervention, two Brazilian citizens, BB, 24 years old, and HD, 21 years old, were arrested, who, according to the investigation, had rented an apartment in neighborhood no. 2 of Durrës, where they were suspected of practicing prostitution and consuming narcotics. During the action, both refused to open the door of the apartment, which was forced to be opened with the help of firefighters.

Also, citizen KM, 22 years old, was criminally prosecuted at large for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".

During the search, two passports of foreign citizens, a sum of money in euros and lek, three mobile phones, a notepad, several SIM cards, as well as two small quantities of suspected narcotics such as cannabis and chocolate containing cannabis were seized as material evidence.
