Investigations are underway for LK, after he attempted to take 42,000 undeclared euros out of Albania through the Kakavija Border Crossing Point.

The amount of money was found during a physical check on the 44-year-old, who is charged with "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border."

The 44-year-old man was criminally prosecuted for attempting to take 42,000 euros out of Albania without declaring it.

In continuation of the work of the Border Police services, with the aim of preventing and combating crimes at the border, at the exit from Albania, a search was conducted in the bag of citizen LK, where 42,000 euros were found, which this citizen had not declared in accordance with the law.

Following the procedural actions in the case, the Crime Investigation specialists of the DVKM Gjirokastër referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state, for the criminal offense "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border", for citizen LK, 44 years old, resident of Fier.
