Tried to escape after being declared wanted/ 33-year-old arrested in Murriqan

A 33-year-old man was arrested while attempting to leave Albania, 1 citizen wanted for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

Citizen AS, a resident of Durrës, was declared wanted by the Durrës Court for the criminal offense.

The Border Police Services of the Muriqan BCP, as a result of intensive work carried out based on risk analysis, with the aim of cracking down on illegalities and apprehending wanted citizens attempting to enter or exit this BCP, have apprehended at the exit of the Republic of Albania the citizen:

-AS, 33 years old, resident of Durrës.

This citizen was declared wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

Other procedural actions will be carried out by the Durrës DVP./CNA
