Items worth 3 million lek were stolen/ Two people arrested, another wanted

Durrës Police finalized the operation codenamed "Masa", detaining two citizens suspected of committing thefts in bars, while work continues to capture another accomplice.

AT, 29 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 4, who was under the security measure "House arrest" for a road accident resulting in the death of a person in 2022, and M.Ç., 30 years old, resident of neighborhood no. 8 Durrës, were arrested.

According to the police, on November 18, 2025, during the night, the two defendants, together with another person still unidentified, stole items worth about 3 million old lek from the bar of citizen LK, in neighborhood no. 18 Durrës.

During the operation, authorities seized the vehicle used to transport the stolen items as well as the clothes the two defendants used to disguise themselves.

The materials have been transferred to the Prosecution Office at the Durrës Court of First Instance for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Theft committed in collaboration" and "Removal of a prisoner from his place of residence."/ CNA
