Security camera footage near the apartment of DP MP Xhelal Mziu has captured a person suspected of placing explosives in his apartment.

According to media reports, the same individual is suspected of being the perpetrator of the TNT explosion in a bar in Kamëz, as well as at least six other similar incidents that occurred over the last year in Tirana and Kamëz.

According to the data, in all the incidents the person appears using the same methods, disguised as a worker or wearing dark clothing and leaving the scene on a bicycle. His identity has not yet been confirmed by the police.

According to sources, a few days before the incident, FD, who owns a business near the bar, called the bar's owner, SS, telling him that he was looking for JL. The meeting between them ended in a verbal conflict, where Lami allegedly asked SS for 500 thousand euros, threatening that otherwise he would face the consequences. SS denied having any acquaintance with the people in question and refused the payment.

After the incident, SS left for Italy, where he has been living for years.

Meanwhile, according to the investigation, FM contacted the two brothers-in-law who were renting the business, warning them that they would not be able to enjoy the premises.

While the three arrested are being investigated by authorities for the incident in Kamëz, investigators suspect that the unidentified person captured on camera may be a member of the same group and involved in all the TNT attacks. Police are continuing to work to identify and capture him./ CNA
