Lushnja Police have so far escorted 25 people to give testimony regarding the assassination attempt on Julian Sula, or as he is otherwise known, Jul i Pashakos.

It is learned that most of those escorted are witnesses who were at the scene of the incident at the time the assassination was committed, as well as people known for their hostility towards Sula.

Juli from Pashako has stated that he knows nothing about the assassins as he only heard the explosions and immediately hid under the seat to escape.

"I don't know anything, I didn't see anything, I just heard the explosions and sat under the seat to escape the bullets," Julian Sula is reported to have said in his testimony to investigators.

The attack took place on Tuesday morning near the Lushnja stadium, where several citizens opened fire with automatic rifles and pistols from a moving vehicle. The perpetrators then fled and burned the car and weapons in the village of Lifaj.

Julian Sula was wounded in the leg. He is a person with a criminal record and is known in the area as the enemy of Aldo Bare. Sulo was previously arrested for involvement in the assassination of Aldo Bare's nephew, but no evidence was found and he was later released.

He is also known as a friend of Redjan Rraja, sentenced to life imprisonment for the assassination attempt on former prosecutor Arjan Ndoja, and Aleksandër Laho, known as Rrumi i Shijakut.

Footage of the assassination attempt was also published in the media today. He was shot with a barrage of bullets while driving a BMW near the city hospital.

Two people, wearing black masks and hats, got out of the car, which they parked at the corner of "Misto Mame" street. According to the footage, the assassination lasted only 10 seconds.
