Wanted for cultivation and sale of narcotics/ 49-year-old arrested in Shkodra

A 49-year-old man, wanted for the cultivation and sale of narcotics, has been arrested in Shkodra. The citizen Sh.Ç. was placed in handcuffs.

He is suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation of 2,285 narcotic cannabis plants in the village of Alijaj, which were found and destroyed by the police in September of this year.

Police announcement:

Shkodër/Controls continue to capture wanted citizens. 

A 49-year-old man suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation of 2,285 narcotic plants in the village of Alijaj has been arrested and put in handcuffs.   

As a result of continuous checks to locate and apprehend wanted citizens, based on information obtained operationally, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section have apprehended and detained the citizen: 

Sh. Ç., 49 years old, resident of the village of Aliaj.   

This citizen was wanted for the criminal offenses of "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Production and sale of narcotics". He is suspected of being an accomplice in the cultivation of 2285 narcotic cannabis plants in the village of Alijaj, which were found and destroyed by the Police services on 06.09.2025. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action. /CNA
