The police have solved the incident that occurred on November 17 in the village of Mamëz in Kukës, where a gun was fired at a shop.

The police have identified the two suspected perpetrators, a father and son. Citizen Xh. M., 59 years old, has been arrested, while his son, citizen MM, 26 years old, has been declared wanted.

They are accused of the criminal offenses of "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Destruction of property" and "Disturbance of public peace".

The incident that occurred on 27.11.2025, in the Drinas neighborhood of the village of Mamëz, Kukës, where a gun was fired at a business, is being clarified.

The 2 suspected perpetrators (father and son) are identified.

One of the perpetrators is caught and handcuffed, and his son is declared wanted.

The suspected vehicle in which the father and son were traveling when they committed the criminal offense has been seized.

The services of the Kukes Police Department, in cooperation with the Crime Investigation specialists at the Kukes Police Commissariat and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, as a result of in-depth investigations using proactive methods, to uncover the authorship of the event that occurred in the Drinas neighborhood, based on the information provided, organized the police operation codenamed "Drinas".

As part of the police operation codenamed "Drinas", one of the perpetrators, citizen Xh. M., 59 years old, was arrested and detained, and his son, citizen MM, 26 years old, resident of Kukës, was declared wanted for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Destruction of property" and "Disturbance of public peace".

These citizens, on 27.11.2025, in the Drinas neighborhood, are suspected of having fired a firearm at the store owned by citizen TO, damaging the glass facade of the store.

Intensive work continues to capture the wanted citizen, who was not found in the apartment during the operation.
