Knife attack in Tirana / One person arrested, another wanted

A stabbing occurred today on "Irfan Tomini" street in Tirana. According to police information, 45-year-old EU was arrested in connection with the incident, and young GI was declared wanted.

The incident occurred during a conflict over weak motives, where the 43-year-old man with the initials MA was injured, who is out of danger for his life. It is also reported that during the search of the 45-year-old's apartment, 3 cold weapons were found, while in the apartment of the 29-year-old a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis was found.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 2: arrested citizen E. U, 45 years old and declared citizen GI, 29 years old, wanted, as it is suspected that on "Irfan Tomini" street, during a momentary conflict for weak motives, they have hit citizen MA, 43 years old, who is in hospital, with a cutting tool. During the search of citizen E. U's apartment, 3 cold weapons were found, while in the apartment of the 29-year-old a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis was found", the police statement reads. /CNA
