Two doctors in the emergency room of Elbasan Hospital have been criminally prosecuted after a citizen reported that her mother had lost her life in this ward.

Citizen ET has filed a complaint against two doctors after suspecting that her mother lost her life due to negligence during medical treatment.

Meanwhile, it is reported that work is underway to fully clarify the circumstances and exact cause of the 63-year-old's loss of life.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Elbasan Police Commissariat referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens ER and Xh. T., with medical duties in the Emergency Department of the Elbasan Hospital, after citizen ET reported that her mother, citizen L. Gj., 63 years old, lost her life in this ward, suspected of negligence during medical treatment. Work is underway to clarify the circumstances and the exact cause of the loss of life ," the police statement said. /CNA
