Stabbing in Berat/ One person arrested

A violent incident was recorded in the city of Berat, where a person was injured with a knife after a conflict over weak motives.

According to the Police report, the incident occurred in the "Barrikade" neighborhood, where the citizen with the initials AT, 39 years old, is suspected of having injured the citizen DN, 48 years old, with a cutting tool.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services intervened at the scene and, thanks to rapid investigative and operational actions, made it possible to identify, capture and arrest the suspected perpetrator.

The injured person is out of danger, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Berat, for further legal action.

Police are continuing investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident./ CNA
