Wanted for fraud and bringing prohibited items into cells/ Two arrested

Tirana Police have finalized the "Catch 2" operation, within which they have arrested 2 wanted persons.

MK, 43, has been arrested and sentenced to 1.6 years in prison for bringing prohibited items into the cell.

Also arrested was AB, 60, sentenced to 2 years in prison for fraud.

Tirana/The operation codenamed "Catch 2" is being finalized, following operational work and controls, with the objective of capturing wanted citizens.

2 wanted citizens are located, arrested and put in handcuffs: one, sentenced to imprisonment for bringing prohibited items into the Penitentiary; the other, sentenced to imprisonment for fraud.

The structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, during this phase of the "Catch" operation, which aims to locate and detain wanted citizens, captured 2 citizens sentenced to imprisonment. Specifically:

-the services of the Police Commissariat No. 1 arrested citizen MK, 43 years old, sentenced by the Court of Durrës to 1 and a half years in prison, for the criminal offense of “Bringing or keeping prohibited items in the institution of execution of a decision with imprisonment”. The 43-year-old was handed over to the Durrës DVP, for further actions;

- the services of the Special Operational Force, in cooperation with specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, arrested citizen AB, 60 years old, sentenced to approximately 2 years in prison, for the criminal offense of "Fraud".
