Built 8 buildings and a swimming pool without permission/ 1 person arrested

A person has been arrested in Tropoja, at the request of the Kukes Prosecution Office, after being accused of illegal construction.

Within the perimeter of R. Gj.'s apartment, 8 unauthorized buildings and a swimming pool under construction were found.

The prosecutor's office's announcement states that the buildings are 10x6m in size, erected on concrete columns and surrounded by a brick wall.

 

“ At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Kukës, citizen R.Gj. was arrested, under investigation for the criminal offense of 'Illegal construction' provided for in Article 199/a, paragraph 4, of the Criminal Code. Within the framework of the investigations on criminal proceedings no. 509, dated 08.09.2025, following referrals from the state police, in the place called "Gjomakaj" neighborhood, (Llugjaj village), Llugaj Administrative Unit, Tropoja Municipality, 8 buildings and a swimming pool under construction were found, which were located within the perimeter of the apartment of citizen R.Gj.

These buildings are 10x6m in size, erected on concrete columns and surrounded by a red brick wall with a roof over them. The buildings and the swimming pool are located within the perimeter of the apartment of citizen R.Gj. and there are construction materials such as gravel, bricks, etc. around the buildings. Investigative actions on this matter continue , "the prosecution announces./ CNA
