German citizen captured in Muriqan/ Arrested with the intention of extradition to Switzerland

A German citizen who is internationally wanted is captured by the Border Police services and arrested for extradition to Switzerland.       

The Border Police Services of the Muriqan BCP, as a result of increased controls and the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have arrested at the exit from the Republic of Albania, German citizen PP, 39 years old, resident in Switzerland.

This citizen was declared an international wanted person after the Lugano Prosecutor's Office, on 23.05.2025, issued an arrest warrant against him for the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", "Money Laundering" and "Illegal Immigration". 

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Bern, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of the 39-year-old to Switzerland./ CNA
